St George’s Day
This St George’s Day at The White Horse, Wednesday 23rd April, we’re celebrating the finest English produce with a feast of specials that raise a fork to fresh, homegrown ingredients we use from England.
We’re raising the steaks this St George’s Day with an irresistible offer: enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine when you order any two of our succulent, 30-day dry-aged steaks – and for one day only, it’s available all day long.
And don’t forget to sip on The English Rose – a limited-edition cocktail that’s blooming with flavour (don’t worry, we left out the thorns!)
And we raise a pint to England’s proud brewing heritage with £5 pints of Timothy Taylor’s Landlord at The White Horse – a real classic among ales.
With two delicious asparagus specials also on offer – there’s so many reasons to join us for St George’s Day!
National Day Specials
We’re celebrating two fabulous food days the way they should be celebrated, with food! From April 23rd-27th, we’re going green and white for Asparagus Day with two spear-tacular specials. Then, from Monday 2nd – Sunday 15th June, we’re painting the town red for British Tomato Fortnight—feast on some de-VINE tomato-inspired dishes and sip on half-priced Bloody Marys, available 7 days a week!
Vegetarian Fortnight
We’re serving up a veggie delight Monday-Friday for a whole fortnight*, from 12th-23rd May. Grab any vegetarian main (including specials) and get a vegetarian starter on the house!
Our spring menu is rooted in fresh and flavourful vegetarian delights, and what better way to celebrate Vegetarian Week than with a complimentary starter? Indulge in seasonal favourites including our Harissa-glazed sweet potato, topped with dukkah and served over bulgur wheat, chickpea & mixed seed salad – flavour perfection!

Seasonal Set Dishes
Indulge in our Seasonal Set Dishes, a monthly changing selection of dishes that shine a seasonal spotlight on the delicious ingredients of the month.
Enjoy two courses for £18.50, or treat yourself to a third course for an added £6, served Monday to Friday, 12–6pm.

Sunday Roasts with Bottomless Trimmings
Sunday roasts are a tradition, and at The White Horse, ours are nothing short of legendary!
Each of our roasts are served with bottomless trimmings – yes, that’s unlimited Yorkshire puddings, golden roast potatoes and rich gravy.
Plus, with every main ordered, you can add a starter and/or dessert for only £6 each – the perfect way to complete your Sunday feast!
