It’s almost Christmas, but there is most definitely room in our newest inn as we reveal what we’ve been secretly working on for the past few months and throw open our arms to welcome The White Horse, Dorking, our very first pub with rooms, into our Heartwood Inns family.

We’re loving getting to know our new neighbourhood in Dorking already and The White Horse has definitely held a special place at the heart of the community for many years. With a history of hosting literary greats such as Charles Dickens (who wrote some of The Pickwick Papers whilst staying!), we can’t think of anywhere better for our first chapter of hosting overnight guests.

Calling all fun-loving families, outdoors adventurers and muddy paw minibreakers.  From cycling the Olympic trail at Box Hill to rummaging for antiques in quirky independent shops. From sunset vineyard tours to cosying up by a warm log fire and sampling some of the very best seasonal dishes. The White Horse opens its doors from end February but from today we are opening our room and dining online bookings from April.
